Tips for Calling China

Please view our Handy Fax/Ph. # Organizer -- if you want to conveniently record the outcome of each call you make. No more confused record keeping or messy notes here and there.

Always Send Forth Righteous Thoughts before making a call, and if needed (or, if the situation allows)… during your call.

If you don't speak Chinese and the person you're calling tries to have a conversation with you, please give that person's phone number to a Chinese practitioner to call back later on.

Whatever you do, don't argue with the person on the other end of the line, no matter what they say about you, Dafa, or Master Li. Be kind.

Don't let a person's rudeness towards Dafa be the determining factor of whether or not you'll call them in the future. Their rudeness is a statement about them. Your compassion is a statement about you!

Generally speaking, a rude person is just doing what he feels he needs to do (be rude) while you, on your end, need to do what a practitioner needs to do (be forbearing, kind, and compassionate). Continually check your xinxing and don't allow yourself to take things personally.

Don't stop calling someone just because they hung up on you. What they do shouldn't faze you in the least. However, if you are fazed, then you've just been given an opportunity to elevate yourself.

Do not give up on the person you are talking to, unless they make it very clear that they prefer you never, ever call them again. Don't give up too soon!

Also, if you speak Chinese, we HIGHLY recommend you look over the Chatroom Tips section of this website. It appears that the same principles that apply to chatrooms, also apply to making phone calls.
