A Fax Sending Method That Works
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you know, in China a person's phone and fax number are often identical. Therefore, when we're sending a fax to China (using a conventional fax machine), and someone picks up the phone (thinking it's an incoming phone call), we simply say, "Ni Hao!(“Hello!”), then play them the audio file called: "Important Fax, Please Turn on Machine" directly into the mouthpiece end of our phone. If they don't turn on their fax machine straight away, we'll play the same audio file, ("Important Fax, Please Turn on Machine") one more time. If they still don't understand what we're trying to do, we'll immediately play them a pre-recorded audio phone script in Chinese. Even though many people in China don't bother to listen to the whole pre-recorded phone script (from beginning to end), we still play it for them anyhow. Why?
Because for some people, a tiny bit of truth is all they need to shift their thinking -- and it just may be that the person we're playing the audio file to in China is one of them!
